Our intermediate players train every Monday and Friday at Little Heath School. A fun learning environment aims to develop fantastic young players who will acquire skills which allow them to develop as players and people.
Much like our Senior Academy, the aim is to provide ability specific performance coaching in a great learning environment, building strong techniques and foundations that will serve the children well for the rest of their lives.
With the ultimate aim being to produce professional cricketers, those who excel in this programme will be invited to our Senior programme. As with our Senior Academy, admittance to the Junior Academy is by invitation only. To book an assessment, please contact head coach Aftab Habib via the ‘Contact Us’ button above.
When & where we train
Little Heath School, RG31 5TY – Every Monday & Friday, (18:30 – 20:15)
To be announced
My child was at another academy for many years, once we heard Aftab had started his own academy, we had absolutely no hesitation in moving over.
All the children are at a similar level ability wise, this means Ryan is getting some high quality training and coaching.
More about our Junior Academy & how to get involved
We know that there is no other academy in Berkshire that provides the quality of coaching we do. This is backed up by the fact that 85% of those in our Junior programme play representative cricket for their respective counties.
It is vital that we build strong cricketing foundations that will serve the children well for as long as they play cricket. Habits developed at this age tend to stay with a player throughout their cricketing career, that’s why we put a big emphasis on all of our Junior academy players having solid all round techniques and foundations.
You can expect to see a fun learning environment where the children are learning the basics of the game all whilst at the same time developing skills which will serve them well for their playing career.
Admittance to the Junior academy is by invitation only, this allows us to maintain the integrity of the programme ensuring all children are able to train at a level above others of their age. If you would like to discuss the steps involved in joining the programme, please contact head coach Aftab Habib.
